SAP Simple Finance: the new ERP Financial Solutions portfolio built
for SAP HANA, allowing “real-real-time” analytics at “most granular
level” across all financial dimensions.

SAP SFIN Why SAP Simple Finance?

1. Upgrade: After successfully running previous SAP architecture for


over 20 years, SAP has decided to take their ERP to the next level,
transitioning from R/3 to S/4 Hana

2. Processing Speed: Previously SAP did not own its own database
instead the database layer (Relation Database Management
System) which held the data was either on Oracle, SQL, Access,
etc., but S/4 Hana changed it completely and SAP has now moved
from R/3 to S4 Hana, which made execution of transactions and
reporting significantly faster.

3. Reports: In memory database took reporting to new level with the


help of Live Hana Reports, SFIN Report, Fiori, etc.

4. Apps: Its time to say goodbye to SAP GUI. SAP Fiori is the new
user experience, which applies modern design principles for a
completely reimagined user experience. SAP Fiori UX represents a
personalized, responsive and simple user experience across

based on SAP HANA, which can be deployed in the cloud or on
premise. Designed to be easy to use, it can deliver instant

while enabling non-disruptive migration.
