Roll-out Training on Sustainable Parent Group

Sept 3-6, 2019 Macagang Business Center, Nabua Camarines Sur

Performance Objectives: At the end of the training, the 114 DSWD FO V Staff (C/Municipal link and Community
facilitator) will be able to roll-out the Module on strengthening parent group with the other City/Municipal
Links/Community facilitator and FDS sessions with the beneficiaries in their respective area of assignment.

Enabling Objectives: At the end of the sessions, the participants will be able to:
 Understand the importance of strengthening parent groups in the FDS results framework.
 Identify the parent group’s needs and gap.
 Demonstrate the process of group dynamics and stages of group development.
 Draw up policies or group norm, refine the parent group organizational structure, and
functions of each sub-group or committee.
 Develop skills on networking and building alliances with other organizations or parent group.
