SEMESTER 1 SESSION 2018/2019

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT – 10%

Students are required to review at least EIGHT (8) relevant reading materials from different sources (i.e.:
text books, scholarly journal or articles) for the preparation of this assignment. Students must write a
proper citation within the content of the written assignment where applicable. Each assignment must
contain complete references. Students are required to do a review report based on one of the topics
below.

In this review report, students are required to discuss and evaluate the central issue of the topic. Students
are expected to make judgment, positive or negative, about the topic based on International Business
discipline. The report must be 10 pages without references.

Further, when you are evaluating your topic, you may need to answer some of the following questions.

• Is the topic relevant, interesting, new, and useful?


• Who will find the topic useful?
• Does the topic give new answer to an old question?
• Are there evidence / research presented to support about the topic? Strong? Weak?
Contradictory?

The report will be graded in terms of the quality of the report, the flow and direction of ideas following
academic writing style. Please, no cut-n-paste work. The sources must have been published from 2014
onwards only. Students have to follow the APA style for referencing and use proper citations for the
content of assignment. Grading shall be done as follows;
