The researchers will survey breadwinners living in Golden Horizon Hugo Perez, TreceMartires City, Southville, TreceMartires City, TahanangYaman Homes, General Trias City and Belvedere Homes, Tanza Cavite from 2017-2018. STRESS LEVEL AND COPING MECHANISMS OF THE MARRIED

BREADWINNERS IN SELECTED RESETTLEMENT
AREAS IN CAVITE

INTRODUCTION

One of the most widely need explanations for marital dynamics contributes more to

income relationships. Relationships will be more equal when spouses contribute equal

resources. Research on asset management in marriage has recognized the importance of the

institutionalized definitions of breadwinners the spouse, who is socially defined and thus

expected to be the primary income provider. Breadwinners shape couples decisions regarding

how to manage finances. Being breadwinner partakes managing the house finances regardless

of gender. Family needs and finances would be less harder to carry along if both couple agree

to common decisions of performing the obligations together. However this scenario is

sometimes fancy and in obscure reality. For what matters is the reality that not all people are

blessed with equal functions.

For some married individual they need to be selfless thinking of the welfare of the

family. Being the breadwinner is to be selfless thinking of the welfare of the family first and

never mind of self needs. Being the breadwinner is a choice or even destiny to stand on a

position without any right to grumble and complain. However there are stubborn moments that

somebody yearns for financial stability for the family, stress free situation and not obliged to

allocate fractions for them due to added backlog of extended family they have to support.

Upholding the welfare of the family function as the family breadwinners wishing their future

and welfare just to cope up for family needs and financial necessities.
The study determined the stress level that married breadwinners encountered and the

coping mechanisms that they are using just to cope up with the reality of their responsibilities

in their daily lives. The study was conducted in selected areas in resettlement areas in Cavite

(Golden Horizon Hugo Perez, TreceMartires City, Southville, TreceMartires City,

TahanangYaman Homes, General Trias City and Belvedere Homes, Tanza Cavite) in able to

achieve the target quota of the participants and will be carried out from Academic Year 2017-

2018.
 There is no hook in the beginning, the researchers didn’t explain widely about the

problems encountered by the married breadwinners when it comes to their daily

incomes and how they deal with it. Unfortunately, the readers will have a gap of

knowledge regarding what will be the causes when one of the couple doesn’t contribute

to financial responsibilities and how these affects their daily lives. And why there are

cases why one of some couples doesn’t have job.

 Although the researchers include previous study on the third sentence of first paragraph

they did not elaborate it deeply.

 There is no proper citation on the authors of previous works they included in the third

sentence of first paragraph. The researchers didn’t mention the year of the study and

who conducted it.

 Insufficient background information

 How they choose the locale

 Previous study as a proof that breadwinners experienced more stress

than the one (housewife/househusband) that keep finances.
