Simplifying Chip Implementations for Issuers
• Streamlined Chip Setup: BIN configuration and regression
testing designed for issuers who prefer to deploy an EMV
compliant program using the least complex and fastest path.
• Offline Chip Setup: A broader package of set-up services
designed for issuers that intend to take advantage of EMV’s
offline authorization and verification features. Support includes
input on all implementation decisions, including customized
key management and personalization options. This service
includes BIN configuration testing, regression testing, and VSDC
Personalization Assistant.
• Visa Chip Authenticate: VisaNet® validates the chip data in
authorization messages on-behalf-of the issuer, avoiding the time
and investment needed to develop this capability at the issuer’s
host. Issuers can choose to receive the result of the check or have
VisaNet provide the response on their behalf.
• iCVV Convert Service: Reduces issuer host development
requirements by converting the ICC Card Verification Value (iCVV)
in the authorization message to the Card Verification Value (CVV).
