We promised in the beginning of the year 2012 to provide you with the enhanced
features in our CA platform which would help you increase your reach and help
you grow your business.
We are opening up schemes for you to identify and appoint RA Agents who can
help in growing your business by increased reach. They would operate under your
account and help you resell your quota of certificates.
The following are some benefits:
1. You can identify and appoint multiple RA Agents
2. These RA Agents will appointed only after ratification by Sify.
3. You can allocate quotas through your RA administrator interface.
4. They would able to only sell what is allocated. You can top up their required
based on business needs.
5. This will help you to monitor reseller’s stock and track their progress.
6. Enrolment will take from the same link, as now.
The following are minimum guidelines for identifying an Sify LRA Agent
Sify LRA Agent (LRAA) appointment guidelines
Sify LRA who identifies and appoints the LRAA after ratification by Sify
should ensure that LRAA comply with the requirements of certificate life
cycle.
LRAA should be a registered Limited / Private Ltd / Partnership firm /
Registered Professional ( CA / Company Secretary / Stock Broker / Medical
Professional), preferably in IT or allied services relevant to issuance of
DSC’s to subscribers
LRAA should (mandatory) have a Sales tax / VAT / Service tax registration
and needs to provide Sify the relevant details before sign-up
Minimum infrastructure requirements
Manpower – 2 LRAA to handle Validation and DSC related
process

Office space – Min 100 sqft office space with at least 2 systems,
LAN and broadband internet and adequate safe storage facility
Steel Almirahs for documents,
LRAA will be validated as per Sify’s Class 3 Validation process prior to
appointment. If LRAA is an employee of the LRA, then he should on the
roles and supported by appointment letter.
LRAA as to adhere to all the processes and guidelines provided by Sify
Safescrypt CA.
LRAA has to conduct Internal and External Audits on yearly basis as
recommended by Sify CA and are accountable for routine process followed
by LRA resale operators. If any deviation identified, Sify has the right to
terminate the services of LRA and or the LRAA depending on severity.
All the application form duly signed by LRAA, LRA, Sify Channel Account
manager and approved by product team (either by Murali or myself) need
to be sent to Saj Francis at Bangalore office for records
