Chair (Leigh) : Good morning ladies and gentleman, welcome to the first meeting of our
organization. As written in the memo you received, we are about to start the meeting at exactly
10:30 am today.
Leigh : But before we start, please turn your mobile devices in silent mode to prevent
interruption and maintain the flow of the meeting. Henceforth, Secretary please do the roll call.
(Ercilla) : (Roll call to all members of the parliament)…
Ercilla : Madame chair, all members are present
Leigh: Thank you. Ms. Ercilla. Before I start to call for the order of this meeting, let us first ask
for the guidance of the lord. Mr. Rabadon please do the honor of leading the prayer.
Rabadon : Our father..(impromptu Prayer)…

Leigh : Again a pleasant morning to each and every one, and LOP(lawyers of the Poor) welcome
for today’s meeting. Moving further may I ask the secretary to read the agenda for today’s
meeting.
Ercilla: As stated in the electronic mails that you have received. Today’s agenda will revolve
around our upcoming 1st General Assembly and Annual Meeting. Mr. Balanay was asked to
plot the date and place of the GA and Ms. Abrazado for the theme and program. The order of
presentation will be based on today’s attendance.

Leigh: Thank you Ms. Ercilla. With that being said the floor is now open for Mr. Balanay to
present his initial ideas.
Balanay: Thinking about the urgency, my initial idea is to held the General Assembly next week
at the Oracle Hotel since the owner already pledge to give us free use of their halls and rooms
for official businesses.
Leigh: The floor is now open for comments and/or issues with Mr. Balanay’s suggestion.
“Iglesias RAISE HAND”
Leigh: Yes Ms. Iglesias?
Iglesias: Though I commend Mr. Balanay’s suggestion, it will be impossible for us to complete
the preparation process of his proposal due to time constraint. I suggest that we have our
General Assembly next month and not next week.
Leigh: Point taken. Mr. Balanay do you have anything to add?
Balanay: Taking in consideration Ms. Iglesias’ suggestion, the committee can adjust the date
and time setting for our General Assembly, I believe Oracle Hotel won’t mind.
Leigh: Are there any more issues? “no one raises their hand”. Okay, with that, everyone already
agrees that our General Assembly will be held next month at the Oracle Hotel. Mr. Balanay
please make sure to have an advance announcement to our branches for them to prepare.
Moving forward, may I ask Ms. Abrazado to present her ideas regarding our theme.
Abrazado: Mr. Balanay already told me last week that the he envisions to held the General
Assembly at the Oracle Hotel. That’s why my committee prepared three themes (1) is a
Masquerade Theme Ball (2) Black and White to emphasis formality or (3) Bloody Red. That’s all
Ms. Chair.
Leigh: Given that we have three possible themes. May I ask Ms. Secretary to have a roll call
vote.
Secretary: Let us start a roll call vote, Just simply state your theme of choice.
Balanay: Bloody Red
Iglesias: Black and White
Sajor: Bloody Red
Rabadon: Black and White
Secretary: Since we have a tie, as stipulated in our CBL, the decision will now rely on our
Chairman.
Leigh: Considering Ms. Abrazado’s explanation and the location of our General Assembly. I
move that our theme would be Black and White.
Leigh: Hearing no other business, is there a motion to adjourn?
Rabadon: I move that the meeting be adjourned
Balanay: I second the motion
Leigh: A motion has been made and seconded to adjourn the meeting. All in favour say aye, all
not in favour say hey. The meeting is adjourned.
