The Great Big Water Bottle Project is a cross-curricular,
project-based, 21st century learning unit involving most
of the 900 students at Sussex Regional High School.
The idea was to collect thousands of plastic water bottles
to be installed as a massive art piece to raise awareness
of the negative impact of plastic water bottles on the
environment

The final pattern was done by guest artist Kelly Hill
Students were encouraged
to get involved by joining the facebook site
The visual arts students painted in the appropriate
colours and squirted/brushed in enough colour to cover
the bottoms of the 7500 bottles
