1. Describe goal directed design. Why software project fails?


2. “A good design makes the user more effective”, explain. Should we focus on technology
and tasks instead of on the user and his goals? Justify your answer.

Group B

Attempt any SIX questions. 6x6=36

4. Explain the different between different models of user interface design.


5. What is a toolbar? What advantages does it provide over a menu?.
6. How window is polluted? Explain with an example. .
7. What is selection? How a group selection is done?
8. Why dialog box is not main program but secondary program?
9. What are child forms? Why they are necessary?
10.Why drag and drop so popular? How it helps to user to work?
11.How hierarchical menu paradigm is better than command line?
