1. Business Sub-process:COA
Description: COA is used for listing down all the accounts used in the General ledger of an
organization. It also defines the number and attributes of different segments.

Calendar:

1. Business Sub-process: Accounting calendar


Description: Accounting calendar defines an accounting year and period it contains required for
accounting. Main components of calendar are Type and number of periods.

2. Business Sub-process: Calendar type


Description: Maersk will follow financial year basics of accounting,ie:1st of April to 31st of
march.

3. Business Sub-process: Period Structure


Description:

Currency:
1. Business Sub-process: Identifying the functional currency.
Description: The functional currency for Maersk will be Indian rupees(INR).

2. Business Sub-process: Identifying the major other currency.


Description: Maersk will also transact with other currency like USD,EURO,Pound,Riyal.
