Creating Google Slides
Step 1. On your taskbar, open your browser by
clicking the browser’s logo, say Google Chrome.
Step 2. Type slides.google.com on the URL box
then hit enter.
Step 3. Click the ‘+’ sign to create new file.
Step 4. Change the title from ‘Untitled
Presentation’ to ‘EPP-ICT’
Step 5. Customize
the design of
your presentation
by clicking the
‘theme’ button
just below the
menu tabs.
Selection of
themes will
appear on the
right
Step 6. After
selecting your
design,
encode the
title of your
topic, your
name, and
school. Hit
‘CTRL M’
to add new
slide
Step 7. Move the added slide before the master
slide (your title) by dragging it upward.
Step 8. Edit text placeholders by
adding positive words to set the
mood of your students. Also,
insert animation preferably made
by you like Bitmoji animation
To insert
animation/ image
Click insert ➔
image ➔ select
whether to upload
or search the web
➔ look for the file
Step 9. Click your first slide and hit CTRL M to add
another slide. Move (just drag) downward after
your title slide
Step 10. Edit
your third slide
as it answers
your given
assignment in
google docs.
A simple

Step 13. Add
another slide and
this time you need
to insert video. I
suggest you insert
you own video. If
in case it came
from the web,
please do not
forget to credit it to
the owner.
To insert video To insert a link of a video
Click insert ➔ video ➔ select from the web
the video to upload Go to that video ➔ copy
the URL ➔ paste on the
slide
Step 14. Add
transition on slides
and animation on
objects.
To edit transition/
animation
Click transition button
(near theme) ➔ choose
a transition(a panel of
motion will appear on
the right)➔ customize
object animation
Step 14. Double check
the transition indicator
(a tri-circle image
before each slide). If
you found it, try to
present your work by
clicking present button
on the upper right or hit
‘CTRL SHIFT F5’ on your
keyboard
