“The Last Job”

FADE IN:
INT. SOLOMONS SQUARE BANK - EARLY MORNING
We are inside a bank in the morning hours, just before it
opens. We hear voices of people as they wait to come in.
We see a WOMAN, ALEXANDRA (20) the bank manager and a MAN,
DAVID, (30) the security guard, talking casually.
Alexandra goes to open the doors of the bank.
The THIEVES move with extreme speed and violence. They all
wear BLACK HOODIES, hold PISTOLS and wear HALLOWEEN MASKS.
The FIRST BANDIT, MUSTY (24) GRABS ALEXANDRA by her arm and
drags her to the back.
The SECOND, AMAN (21) HITS David with his gun, knocking him
down.
Musty leads Alexandra down a hall taking her towards the
vault.
INT. VAULT - MOMENTS LATER
Musty
What’s the time lock set for?
Alexandra
Nine when the bank opens.
Musty
If you’re lying we are going to kill your friend.
The digital clock on the vault reads 8:19
Alexandra
...eight twenty!
Musty
When it hits, no panic code. Open it clean. Understand?
Everything has gone very fast to this point. Now it moves
agonizingly slow - They watch the clock like 3 people waiting
for an elevator.
The timer CLACKS! Musty inserts the vault key.
Alexandra reaches for the big dial with a trembling hand.
She begins working the numbers. After the third turn, theres a
CLANK. Alexandra turns the wheel and the vault door opens.
Musty
(sternly to Aman)
We have limited time, start emptying out the vault.
Aman starts opening the deposit boxes and loading all its
contents into a DUFFLE bag.
Aman
Lets go!
EXT. BACK ALLEY - CONTINUOUS ACTION
Musty and Aman run out a back exit and go into CAR they have
parked beforehand and flee the scene.
INT. CAR - CONTINUOUS ACTION
Aman
(Excited shouting)
Woooo! See i told you it would be easy.
Musty
(laughing)
Of course it would be easy. I made the plan!
INT. RESTAURANT - NOON
Aman and Musty sit eating together at an expensive restaurant.
A waiter comes and places drinks in front of them. They clink
glasses together and drink.
Musty
That was a smooth run, no problems, just in and out.
Aman
That might’ve been a new record for us. What was it? 3 minutes
till we got out.
Musty
We must not get ahead of ourselves. We need to lay low for a
day or two. Police are all over the place.
Aman
Yeah I know the drill, no contact for 24 hours, change our
numbers and phones and go to the safe houses.
Musty
Excellent work!
They hand shake each other, pay for the drinks and leave in
their cars.
CROSS FADE TO:
INT. CLOSED OFFICE - FEW DAYS LATER
There is a big board in the middle of the office with lots of
maps, pictures of staff and pictures of jewelry on it, one
being a watch and the other being a huge diamond. Musty is
revealed sipping on his mug staring at the board.
Aman enters.
Aman
(jokingly)
Why you always sad man, lighten up we just got £250,000 each!
Musty
I'm not sad, it's just I'm not trying to carry on this
lifestyle. Nothing but stress and police are always at our
tail.
Aman
You're not thinking about retiring are you?
Musty
Hmmm, maybe after this…
He points at the board.
Aman
But Musty this is almost impossible to hit, the store is in
central… Do you know how much police are just patrolling there
everyday?
He points at the picture of the safe.
Aman
This is fingerprint and iris encrypted, how are you going to
know who the person that’s finger is registered to the safe?
Musty
(smiling)
Almost impossible is good enough for me! I've been working on
this for years. You know this. I have figured out whose
fingerprints are connected to the safe and which deposit boxes
we need for those spectacular pieces!
Aman
They look a bit old though aren't they?
Musty
Antique is the word you’re looking for, they are priceless.
However we are going to put a price on them!
Both of them start laughing.
Aman
Let's get to work then. What are we going to need for the set
ups?
Musty starts pinning stuff on the board. He puts a picture of
a store called Rothschilds jewelry.
Aman
I have heard of this store on the news.
Musty
Yes, they have been in the news recently. They have the
largest and one of the most expensive jewelry collections in
the world. And recently they have a new collection coming out.
He points at the two pictures pinned onto the board.
Musty
These pieces are part of this new collection, a Richard Mille
Tourbillon that is worth 3 million, and this is a fifty carat
diamond ring.
Aman
Whoa, thats a huge diamond. How much is it worth?
Musty
Almost 10 million
Aman
(laughing)
Well let us get to it then. What's the plan for getting
inside?
Musty
Well we are going to have to get some disguises. They are not
going to let us in unless we look the part. So suits, formal
shoes and we can just wear some gloves to hide fingerprints.
Aman
They will see our faces on the camera won't they? How are we
going to work past that?
Musty
I know a person. A makeup artist. She can completely change
the way our face looks. Even our own mothers wont recognise
us!
Aman
Ok what else are we going to need?
Musty
We need concealable firearms, don't forget. We have to get
past the first security door without them raising an alarm.
Aman
I got the pattern for that.
Musty
We need some stolen cars as well. Cant be using our personal
cars for this move.
Aman
Of course!
Musty looks at Aman.
Musty
We are gonna go clear from this. Just you know.
Finally a chance so we can retire and build our family!
Aman
(laughing)
Fingers crossed we can pull this off. But we are optimistic.
Musty
Hopefully!
Aman
Anyway, i'm going to this girls house im roasting
They both laugh.
Musty
(laughing)
Go to your ugly girl
CROSS CUTTING from police scene outside to inside the room
that Aman and Musty is in.
EXT. OUTSIDE THE OFFICE - NIGHT
The OFFICERS are walking towards the door and doing hand
signals. OFFICER 1 signals everyone to stop and puts three
fingers up.

The officers breach the door and tell Aman and Musty to put
their hands up. Officer 1 and 2 go and put handcuffs onto both
Aman and Musty.
OFFICER 1
You’re under arrest of the Solomons Square bank, you don't
have to say anything but if you do say anything it can be used
against you in court.
The officers take them out the door.
