Question no 1: What are the three generic goals you have set for yourself?
Answer:
To become a graduate in management sciences
To become a successful businessman
To have a car
Question no 2 what are the three product-specific goals you have set in past three
years?
Answer:
To finish the degree of bachelor’s in BBA
To start a business and gradually increase its growth
To invest in stock market
Question no 3 Is what situation are these two related?
Answer: these two goals generic and product specific are related with each other because to
become a graduate in management sciences. You must complete a degree in BBA. So, all others
two are similar related vise versa.
Question no 4 How were these goals selected? Was it personal experiences, physical
capacity, norms culture?
Answer: I have selected these goals based on my personal experiences as well was our family
culture reflects me to select these goals. In our family culture most of the peoples have their own
business so my thinking shifted toward these goals.
Question no 5 What products might be purchased using rational and emotional
motives?
Answer: I have purchased vivo mobile because I have studied my wants and needs conduct a
research and compare them with other brands. But on the other hand, a person purchases a burger
from MacDonald’s to maintain their class or pride so these types of purchase would called
emotional motives.
Question no 6 what marketing strategies are effective when there are combined
motives?
Answer: when there are combined motives there will be logical thinking as well as emotional
thinking involved in purchase. so, consumer must identify the need and then set goals, choose the
best suited product which fulfill there both motives.
