personal experience. Then discussing about the result from the learning experience,
professional developments and personal views. Finally evaluated the plan procedures in
this report by which future improvement is possible.

Description of the team experience

Few months ago I have founded a case competition in business blog website which was
about the business context. I have involved in this competition by registered myself for
competing with other competitors. There are made a team of 6 members in where I was
the team leader. The topics of the case competition was about the strategic business
and management tools that is recommendations for multinational retailing industry
which has been experiencing decreasing sales. In this situations different types of
dimension and aspects of business are discussed along with the present situations of
the existing business and its long term goals and objectives (Sidorova, 2016). The case
is needed to solve by the participating group and need to provide the strategic business
suggestions and solution for solving the each and every level of business. Generally the
case competition was 3 hours duration thus we have to solve the problem within the
given time and after completing the case solution we must require to submit the solution
via website. Now discussing about the period when we have got the case problem in
our hand. After getting the case in our hand each team member read the case carefully
started to note down the fundamental key point of solving case. Then we had to build
the standard structure for designing the solution and providing this in our all team
mates. There are various types of toolkits are used for analysing the problem such as
SWOT analysis, PESTLE analysis for getting the proper idea about the business
environment in where the business organisation are involved in business
transection(Beaumont and Hattaway, 2014). And finally we needed to use the porters’

five forces for knowing the market competitiveness that helps to provide the provable
suggestions to the organisation for solving the case problem.

Individual feelings and learning

In my individual level, I am able to learn different lessons from this group performance
which is built on the basis of Tuckman’s team development stages. Business and
individual team making and maintaining is the main terms of this tools which refers to be
associated with four stage including forming, storing, norming and performing (Smith,
2019). We had to make a scenario in where need to include the idea about forming
teams and set up the guidance and decision making process. In the second stage, we
had various types of opinion based on the personal perceptions for making the design
of problem solving that is the main part of the Tuckman’s model which is called the
storming. In the third stage, we need to segment our individual task in accordance with
the Tuckmans third stage of toolkits. Finally we were able to make the possible
solutions. If I said about my own feelings to attend this competition was really amazing. I
was fully excited before starting our task and also little bit nervous about the ultimate
result of the competition and team afford. During solving the case, the nervousness
made me more careful even I didn’t know the best level of my own performances but
the grace of Almighty we had completed the solution effectively and efficiently. We had
to perform our task in a corporate culture discussed on the basis of Belbin’s team roles
which is a known framework about the group performance and that assists to realise the
personal role in the specific team and individual contribution for developing the team
performances. The same things are happened when I required to provide the
information about solving the corporate problem based on the individual thoughts and
innovative idea. Each and every team members learn how to make mutual relationship
with proper respect and believes with the help of Adlerian theory. By attending this
competition, my sense of communication and corporate behaviour are improved as well
as increased the individual attraction in social activities.

Evaluation and analysis of the experience
Making the team objectives and the procedures of gaining the goals is the main
prerequisites abaft the progress of a team. In the beginning of the team making, our
goals and objectives were clarified. For attaining the specific goals both the
organisational and individual level working, the most crucial term is time management.
In the time management sense, we had a worst experience and even hurried up at the
last moment of the deadline to complete the case solving (Kuji-Shikatani, 2015).

Conclusions and action plan

We identified the different types of lacking after completing the teamwork these need to
be developed. In my personal opinion, the aspect of sharing and caring each with others
are fully missing during teamwork because each and every member of our group was
busy with solving the specific individual task. There are suggestions from my sights is
assigning to members to a specific performance for improving the sharing and
cooperation that might be helpful to make the solution of case quickly.

Regarding the action plans, I would say that I should work properly for boosting up the
time management skills and communication skills for developing the team approaches
that help to attain the team goals and objectives (Smith, 2019). I also need to focuses
on dividing the individuals’ duties and responsibilities based on the Belbin’s team roles
to make the team more productive and efficient.
