SAS Developer responsible for developing SAS DI jobs and Reports
Apply ETL Process on sorce data
Used Look up transformation while crating Job for Fact table.
Developed Different Dimension jobs used different types of transformations.
Used SCD type 2 transformation for capturing Changing dimensions.
Used custom transformations for data validation purpose.
Used splitter and data validation transformation to capture data exceptions.
Used loop transformation for looping parameterized jobs.
In order to improve performance of the jobs created indexes on table, used parallel
processing, multi-threading while sorting data.
Used check points for troubleshooting in development in the job.
Done data validations to confirm job as per design specifications.
Register metadata for source and target libraries and tables
Use change management concept using check-in and checkout feature of DI Studio.
Created web reports from data which is there in data warehouse, Created summary
detail reports, crated web reports with parameters, web reports with multi sections,
graphs, tables, condition highlighting etc.
Linked reports to each other by using report linking feature of WRS.
Schedule web reports to run automatically at specified data and time.
Used SAS Information Delivery portal to showcase content to end user, added different
portlets, like navigation prtlet, SAS DI dashboard portlet, SAS report viewer portlet.
Created SAS Di dashboards wising info map as a data source.
Created documentation of work and follow standard guidelines provided by Lead.
Done some of administrator activates like creating User, user groups, roles, data
servers, libraries, importing and exporting sas metadata, using SAS .spk files, providing
authendication to metadata folders, creating access control template etc.
Clearly communicated and demoing to team and client on time to time basis.
