Leisure Time
Cúcuta has different places to visit during your free time. It depends on your
time and budget. But, definitely the city has several options. For example, you can
visit the Malls to buy or make window shopping. Also, stand-up comedy shows are
presented at Zulima Theater from time to time. Every single Sunday people enjoy
the “Ciclovia” at “Malecón” and you can practice sports all around the city. The
most common free time activities are going to the movies and playing bowling. By
the way, if you like “Cucuta Deportivo” it’s possible to see it at “General Santander
Stadium”.

On the other hand, if you love the nature you can enjoy the Historical temple,
visit Ecoparque, know many small villages around the city or get into a traditional “paseo de olla” in Zulia river.
Finally, Cucuta has an interesting night life with many places in where dancing, drinking and having fun are possible.

Grammar: Using gerund and infinitive.

Gerund as a subject: -Practicing sports is very important for your health.


Gerund after a preposition: -They talked about travelling to Japan.
Adjetive+preposition+verb: -He is afraid of going into the cave.
Gerund after a verb: - He enjoys playing videogames.

Infinitive:

can/can’t + verb Verb + to + verb


I prefer to dance merengue music.
I can play the piano. I like to play tennis.
I can’t swim very well She hopes to pass the level.
I can’t sing at all. He learns to speak english here.
