A child-friendly school is more than just a place for formal learning. Foremost, it is
an institution that recognizes and respects the range of rights of children, and not
just their right to be educated. These rights also include their rights to be healthy, to
be given opportunities for play and leisure, to be protected from harm and abuse, to
express their views freely, and to participate in decision-making according to their
evolving capacities. From the abovementioned reasons, the WiNS TWG would
like to propose construction of 2 comfort rooms to be located at canteen and school
clinic. The requested CR is beneficial to the learners when face to face classes are
permitted by the government. Furthermore, it is timely to construct the CR as of
this moment because the learners are not yet in school and will not disrupt classes
even the canteen and clinic is under construction.
4 Project/ Activity Description
To ensure the success of this activity, _______ male and _________ female
faculty members had convened to conduct series of meetings relative to the
planning of the CR construction which will help the school for the improvement of
the learning environment. 100% of the of the faculty members agreed on the
mentioned and suggested activities. Moreover, parents, community and other
stakeholders will be encouraged to be a part of the activity to ensure its success.
Meetings with the GPTA, Homeroom PTA Officers will be conducted to ask for
assistance and ensure their full commitment in coming up with a project that will
help improve the learning environment.
The project aims to: 1. Provide functional comfort rooms in designated areas
