SAP Logon Instructions
Only three attempts allowed to Logon for the Server, Client, User ID & Password
combination and your password cannot be retrieved. The Password is case sensitive.
Note: You can use this User ID & Password for all SAP Tutorials.
Accessing SAP

Adding SAP Logon to your PC (instructions are given in the “Course Orientation – Start
Here”)
1) Click on SAP Logon
2) Choose “Explorer View” from the pull down menu on the above right corner of your screen.
3) Choose Bremen (BRE) from the list of SAP connections (servers).
Choosing BRE server should bring up this SAP Logon screen.
4) Enter 410 for Client on the SAP Logon screen.
Note: This will be the client number for all SAP tutorials.
5) Enter your User ID – It can be found in the Grades in Folio under “SAP Tutorial
UserID” (Learn-###) – include the dash (-) when entering the ID.
Note: This will be your user-id for all SAP tutorials.
The last three digits of user id is unique for each student and you should not use any
other user id. You will have problems using another use-id and your submission will not
be accepted if your own user-id is not used.
6) Enter the initial password which is global8. It is case sensitive.
7) Logon Language – Do not change EN (Language default is English)
After entering the client, user ID, and password on the logon screen, press enter and you
will be prompted to change your password.
8) Change your password. Make this change and choose a passw ord that you can easily
remember (your passw ord cannot be retrieved). Press Tab to confirm (repeat) your
password.
Note: This will be your password for all SAP tutorials.
You will need Server, Client, UserID (Learn-###) and Password (your choice)
combination for future login to do other SAP tutorials. Please be very careful when
choosing Server, and entering Client, your User ID and Password (Password is case
sensitive). You no longer can use your User ID and password combination if you fail
three times and your password cannot be retrieved.
In tutorials, you should enter the last three digits of your user id every time you are asked
to enter your User Number (###).
In tutorial, your screenshots should show the entire screen (active window). The
screenshots showing part of the screen or just the codes/figures will not receive credit.
Your screenshots should match the figures provided in the book to receive credit. You
can hold the “Alt” key and press “Prt Scr Sys Rq” key to capture the active window. If
you don’t hold the “Alt” key, you’ll get the whole desktop in your screenshot.
