Upgrading from Microsoft Windows 2000 Server

The technology gap between Windows 2000 Server and Windows Server 2008 is too
great to make a concise exam path feasible. If you are certified on Windows 2000
Server, you have the option of earning a Windows Server 2003 certification and then
following the Windows Server 2008 upgrade path, or beginning the Windows Server
2008 direct path.
