If given the power to change one thing in our country, I would address the political divide and lack of compromise between the two major political parties. Both parties seem more focused on defeating the other side instead of finding common ground and practical solutions to problems facing the nation. Bringing more unity, cooperation and problem-solving ability back to government would help the country make progress on important issues.
