Module2 Venn Diagram

The document discusses the three types of world regions - core, semi-peripheral, and peripheral - and compares their advantages and risks. The core countries have strong economies and government funds that allow them to prosper. Semi-peripheral countries are developing but still rely on core countries for protection and products. Peripheral countries have weak economies and low purchasing power, so they perform manual tasks and lack technological development.

The advantage of the countries that belong to the core

countries is that their countries have high capital, which

makes the economies of the core countries higher than

those of the semi-peripheral and peripheral countries. The

government can help the needs of the people in the core

Core
countries because they have enough government funds and

revenue to make the country prosper in terms of the

economic situation of each citizen. The risk of being in the

central regions is that they will compete with other countries Japan
that are also known as industrialized countries. This will

cause economic problems for both countries.
Canada
The advantage of semi-peripheral countries is that they are

countries that are developing economies, but they still need Australia
the help of the countries of the central regions in terms of

protection and products. The risk of semi-peripheral regions

is that they provide their citizens with relatively diverse

economic opportunities, but the gap between rich and poor

is also very large. Being a semi-industrialized country, it

cannot provide sufficient funds for its citizens, so the gap

between rich and poor is large, and they cannot provide

adequate support to poor areas that belong to semi-

peripheral countries where poverty exists and prevails.
REGIONS Periphery
The advantage of the countries that belong to the periphery

is that the goods and services of their country are cheap

due to the economic weakness. These countries have no

choice but to make everything cheaper because people South Korea
have little purchasing power and people can afford it. The

risk for countries that belong to the periphery is that they Indonesia
cannot develop their own economies like the semi- India

peripheries that develop from time to time. These countries Brazil
lack development in technology, so most countries perform

manual tasks that take time to complete. Although the

countries in the central region help other countries develop

their economies and provide assistance to other countries. In

addition, these form alliances between countries and

establish ties between countries through government

agreements, just like the way the United States helps the

Philippines in terms of military power.
