Moshell commands and interpretation

moshell (ip address of the node) – log on to the node

lt all – loads all managed objects

st plug – shows the different plug-in units with their respective status
st e1 – shows all e1 and their respective status
alt – shows current alarms with time and confirm what sector is affected

lga | grep <alarm> - shows the history of the alarm


get radio no – confirm if node is carrying traffic
get xxx – do a get on the particular disabled proxy number
lbl/bl xxx – lock a particular proxy number (plug-in unit /MO)
ldeb/deb xxx – unlock a particular proxy number (plug-in unit /MO)
acc 0 manualrestart – to give the node warm restart
acl xxx – check the actions you can perform on a particular proxy number (plug-in unit)
acc xxx <action> – to restart a particular proxy number (plug-in unit)
lst ret - check the current status of the RET
lst asc - check the current status of the ASC
St vc: status of virtual channels

Acc vc eteloopback:loop back test to confirm if the e1 is thru to the dxx n rnc o&m connectivity.all
the vc must be ‘true’ cos “false”indicates discontinuty.

get rbs localcell: to show local cell id

get . a2ea:to show the routing number.

get . license 1: show the status of license, all must be enabled.

get 10:confirms the sych state of e1

get . requiredn: shows the required number of links.

get nodefunction: shows node functions (features esp).

get ip: to check Ethernet ip, atm1 & atm2 addresses of the node.

get iprout: to check hop1 and hop2 addresses.

get cell cell: to confirm site id.

get nbap: check if nbap is defined on the node.

Get iub: check if iub is defined on the node.


get licensing: shows status of license n fingerprint

license server: shows status of license n fingerprint

lset:to set an MO.

Pdiff e1: shows errors and availability of e1s in 25 – 30secs. All d values are 0 if the e1 is fine

hpget e1: shows errors and availability of e1 instantly.

readclock: to check date and time on the node or if it’s set.

lst car: to check the operational status of sectorial carriers, they must be enable for efficient DUW

get . ipint: to check the VLan id of the oam

get ipadd: to check the ip addresses
