Notice for Regular Students of Third Year LL.B. Semester V (60:40
Examination Pattern)
Online submission of Practical Journal
Paper: Practical Training III
All the regular students who are appearing for third year LL.B. examination of semester V
(new pattern i.e. 60:40 marks pattern) are hereby informed to follow the following
instructions regarding the e-submission of practical journal i.e. Practical Training III
Last date of e-submission: 15.10.2021

Syllabus of practical training Paper III for e-submission:
1. Written submission i.e. Memorandum of total three Moot Court cases i.e.
a) One Civil Case
b) One Criminal Case
c) One Constitutional Case
Note: In all three cases students have to prepare and write memorial of the cases from both
the sides. Moot court cases should be taken as per notice dated 08.09.2021 that was
displayed on the college website.
The written memorials shall necessarily consist of the following:
I. Cover Page
II. Table of Contents
III. List of Abbreviations
IV. Index of Authorities
V. Statement of Jurisdiction
VI. Statement of Facts
VII. Issues Presented
VIII. Body of Pleadings
IX. Summary of Arguments
X. Prayer
XI. Cases relied upon
2. Report of Observations on Virtual Lawyers Chamber Visit.
3. Report on any one workshop/seminar attended/guest lecture organised by the College and
attended by the student.
4. Report on interviewing techniques and Pre trial preparation.
5. Report on court visit.
Students must attend at least one matter each criminal and civil proceeding in court and
write the “name of the court, parties, lawyer and date with the gist about the case and your
observations”.
NOTE:
1. Due to covid-19 restrictions students can attend any court at nearby location in person
or even attend online hearings if have access to links of matters. Students can attend
matters at any of the following Courts- Supreme Court/ High Court/ Sessions
Court/City Civil Court/ Small Causes Court//NCLT/ Family Court/ Magistrate
Court/Tribunal/DRT any nearby court in your vicinity.
2. The college has applied for court permission for virtual/digital visit to the court
proceedings. Hence the students should keep checking the college website about it. If
there is no any such notice about court visit till 10.10.2021 students should attend any
court at nearby location to their place of residence.
Other important instructions:
1. Journal can be hand written or typed. If case of hand written journal (writing should be
legible, neat and clearly spaced.), such students must send email of the scanned matter.
Note: while sending such scanned matter:
It should start with the index showing topics in proper sequences as given above along with
the page numbers.
All pages should be sent by merging in a single file (do not send separate pages.) In such
single file pages should be properly numbered and in sequence.
File should be only in pdf format or word format.
2. The first page of journal should contain full details of the students i.e. Full Name, Roll no.
Division, Year of T.Y.LL.B. admission and Contact number.
Students should keep checking the college website for further instructions and schedules
related to practical training examination.
