NOTE: the new Cell manager must be connected on the Network and must have network access.
if you get the following perl error:

Perl.exe - System Error

The program can't start because MSVCR71.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the
program to fix this

problem.

download the MSVCR71.dll file from this link http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-

files_new.php/dllfiles/M/MSVCR71.dll/7.10.3052.48/download.html
If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place msvcr71.dll in
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\

Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).

Reboot your computer.

If the problem still occurs, try the following:

Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".

Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
Type regsvr32 msvcr71.dll and press Enter.

12. Start DP Services (open command prompt >> c:\program files\omniback\bin\omnisv start)

13. runn the following command <omnihome>\bin:

omnidbutil -show_cell_name

(check that this is correct)

14. Start the GUI and check that everything is ok
