Basic cellular biology and molecular biology
knowledge
The focus of Cell Biology is the study of the structure and function
of the cell. This course will focus on Eukaryotic cell biology and will
cover topics such as structure and composition of membrane,
Subject description: transport mechanism; the cytoskeleton and cell movement;
bioenergetics and cellular metabolism; and the integration of cells
into tissues. The important cellular processes such as cell division,
signal transduction, apoptosis and cancer cell biology will be focused
also.
Objectives: The aim of this course is to provide students with

it relates to cell functions
- Understand how cells grow, divide, and die and how these
important processes are regulated.
