Making Plans

I think making plans is important. I have two lists: one for my short-term plans and
another for my long-term plans.

Short-Term Plans
Today, I'm going to do laundry and clean the house. I also need to start studying for a
French test that I have next week. I have to finish both of these things before the weekend
because I have a lot of things to do on Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday night, I'm planning to go out for pizza with Pat. But first, I'm going to the
beach during the day. The weather is going to be sunny and warm. Then, on Sunday, I'm
going to eat dinner with my parents at the new Indian restaurant in town. It's their
anniversary.

Long-Term Plans
I'm not exactly sure about my long-term plans, but I do want to buy a new car. The car I
have now is really old–it was my grandfather's! I want to get married one day, but not
before I graduate from college. I don't know about having children. Babies really change
your life. The only long-term plan that I'm certain about is visiting Europe next summer!
