(Darwin box is a top quality, high performing organization that wants to hire the best people. I
have necessary skills and qualities to excel in the role you are interviewing for)
How can you add values at Darwin box?
I know that any growing startup faces the problem of expansion but we can realise from that
tabanchi formula that
Why do you want to work with Darwinbox?
I am very familiar with the work that is undertaken at Darwin box. I spoke regarding this interview to
my father who is General manager in Adani Wilmar and I have seen him using Darwin box the HR
platform for more than 2 years which made me very familiar with darwinbox operations and
functions and eventually I realised that
Darwin box is one of fastest growing startup started by respected Sir Rohit, Sir jayan and Sir
Chaitanya who are alumini of IIT, IIms, XlRI and EY, Google and Mckensy, great people and very
talented, Darwin box is different from other organization’s primarily because you diversify in so many
different areas and sectors, you are innovative, you are creative and it also means you can provide a
consistently high level of service to your customers and clients. Darwin box is a top quality platform
that has changed the HR management system by integrating it with latest technologies and bringing
other platforms under one umbrella. so, Darwin box is high performing organization that wants to
hire the best people. That is good for me because I have worked in organization that is constantly
striving and moving forward and more importantly you want to improve and develop, I’m the type of
person who also wants to improve and develop, I don’t just want to sit in a job do the bare minimum I
want to excel and advance year on year. I’m also at the stage in my career where I see myself
staying with the same organization for a long period of time and because from what I understand
during my research you have very ambitious plans for the future, I would like to be a part of those.
I genuinely
want this role with Darwin box, and I strongly feel that if you do hire me, you will be pleased with my positive work
ethics, my high standards and my ability to consistently achieve positive outcomes for the company. This is because I
want to innovate and provide exceptional level of service
Describe a situation when you have to deal with a difficult co worker?
I am not afraid to deal with difficult coworkers,
“I can remember working in a previous role as part of a small team for my final year BTP project and one member of
the team continually complained about how much work he had to do. Initially, I just
put this down to his personality, but after a few weeks, I felt his attitude was starting
to have a slight negative effect on the rest of the team, as I overheard a couple of other
team members talking about his approach to work behind his back. I wanted to sort
the situation out for the good of the team and the organization.
For the sake of the team, I decided to speak to him in private, to encourage him to see things from a different
perspective. I told him that, whilst we did all have a lot of work to get through, this
was actually a good thing as we were all learning new skills which would help us in our future
careers. I also explained that it was good that the teachers had put their trust in us,
as a team, to deliver on difficult projects, and that we should be grateful for that. From
that day on, he never complained again, and I think my small motivational conversation
with him helped him to see things from a different angle.”
Where do you see yourself five years from now?
in five years from now i genuinely see
myself still
working for your organization now of
course i would say that but my career
progression planning
is with your organization i want to work
here for the reasons that i stated
previously
i'm also at the point in my career where
i want to stay working for the same
organization that's important you have
ambitious plans for the future
and i want to still be working here
either in the same role
or perhaps having gained advancement if
you deem me suitable to do so
to a higher level however in five years
time
primarily i want to be really good in my
work i want to be
a high performing achiever i want you to
be
happy with my work and see me as a
respected member of the organization
someone you can trust
and someone who is also loyal i would
also see myself obviously experienced in
five years
time and somebody who could perhaps help
train up other new members of the
organization as
and when they join so i'm basically
sharing my experience with them
Why should we hire you?
i believe you should hire me because not
only do i have the experience
and the skills and qualities that are a
match for the job description
the experience i have gained means that
i will get up and running
in this role very quickly that means you
can leave me to get on with things
which reduces the pressure on you
because obviously you are you are busy
and you are under pressure to achieve
your objectives
and the last thing you need to be doing
is to be watching me all of the time so
i am a fast learner
i'm also very good working around people
and i understand the benefits of working
in a diverse team
i feel that i am a good motivator so i
can get other people to feel motivated
about their work as well
i'm also very good with customers one of
my strengths is being patient with
customers
dealing with them methodically and
making them feel comfortable and as i
said at the start of the interview
i understand that for your business to
be successful
you need customers and clients to come
back time and time again
so i would say one of my strengths is
the fact that i'm commercially and technologically
aware i'm commercially and technologically astute and i
understand that i need to do my job to
the right standard in order for you to be successful and i will also another
21:49
strategy is that i am loyal i am honest
21:51
and i always act with integrity
21:53
so i will represent your brand and your
21:55
company in a positive manner always
What are your Strengths?
yes my strengths are primarily the fact
17:16
that i am a fast learner
17:18
so if you give me the job i will learn
17:21
this role really quickly that would be
17:23
my first day to get up and running
17:25
in super fast time i would spend time
17:28
in my own time in the evenings learning
17:30
the role because it would be my aim to
17:31
get up and running quickly i want to be
17:33
a high performing
17:34
member of my team other strengths are my
17:37
ability to work as part of a team
17:39
to motivate other people as well i think
17:41
i'm good to be around
17:42
you know i'm very positive in nature i
17:44
have a positive mindset and i believe
17:46
that you only get out of life what you
17:48
are prepared to put in and i think that
17:49
would
17:50
rub off on other people also other
17:52
strengths include my ability as i've
17:54
said before to remain calm under
17:55
pressure so if things are going wrong i
17:57
can be a trusted member
17:59
of the team and i will help everyone to
18:02
get to the point where we are achieving
18:04
things within time and to the right
18:05
standard
18:06
i think i'm a good communicator as well
18:08
so when i'm dealing with your clients
18:09
and your customers
18:10
i will always act as a positive role
18:12
model and you have my word
18:14
that i will put your commercial
18:15
interests above everything else
18:17
finally another strength of mine is that
18:19
i can be left alone to do a job to
18:21
the right standard but you can also
18:23
leave me to make sure
18:25
that i keep my knowledge and my
18:26
expertise up to date i take my
18:28
personal and professional development
18:30
seriously and i will always make sure
18:32
that my knowledge and my expertise are
18:35
right at the top of where they should be
What are your greatest weakness?
what's your biggest weakness my biggest
18:44
weakness
18:45
i believe is that i find it very
18:48
difficult at times to say
18:49
no to people now in the past this has
18:53
resulted in me
18:54
taking on sometimes too much work so as
18:57
hopefully i've shown you today that i
18:59
will always be the first person to put
19:00
my hand up
19:01
that sometimes in the past has resulted
19:03
in me taking on too much that i've
19:04
become a little bit overwhelmed at times
19:06
where i think
19:07
i'm going to struggle to get that done
19:09
and i end up working many hours in the
19:10
evening sometimes just to make sure it's
19:12
done on time obviously that's not good
19:14
for my own you know my own mental health
19:17
and my concentration skills so i need to
19:19
make sure
19:20
that i do say no when i am absolutely at
19:22
full capacity having said that another
19:24
one of my strengths
19:25
is the fact that i'm always looking at
19:27
myself to improve so if you see anything
19:29
about me
19:30
that you think i could improve on tell
19:32
me and i'll go away
19:33
and i will sort it out and improve in
19:35
that area thank you
Do you have any questions for us?
thank you very much i've really enjoyed
22:54
the process i'll just have a couple of
22:55
questions if that's okay
22:57
so as i said previously i plan to stay
23:00
with the company for a long period of
23:01
time if i'm successful and i'm
23:02
interested to hear what plans do you
23:04
have for the business over the next five to ten years?
and just one final question if i am
23:51
successful
23:52
what would you need me to concentrate on
23:54
within the first 30 days of starting in
23:56
the position
Um thankyou very much for interviewing me, I ‘ve really enjoyed the process, it’s been great learning
as much as possible about your company and I hope you can find the perfect puzzle piece in me for
the role in your organization.
Thankyou very much
