 Why should I rank you above the others I am interviewing?
 Why should we hire you?
 Tell me about yourself.
 What are your strengths and weaknesses?
 Why do you want this job?
 What qualities do you think are required for this job?
 What can you do for us which others cannot?
 What kinds of decisions are most difficult for you?
 See this pen that I am holding. Sell it to me. (Mobile, refrigerator, AC, water
filter, microwave oven, cold drink, mineral water, soap, detergent, toothpaste
shampoo, car, hair oil)
 Give an example that shows your initiative and willingness to work?
 What do you think determines a person’s progress in a good organisation?

Dear Students

 You are already aware of answers to questions like tell me about yourself, Why
should we hire you, What are your strengths, Resume related questions as in
justifying the resume.
 Please remember to read the Hike Education JD and website to learn all about
the company, founder, products etc 
 Given below are some questions asked by Ed Tech companies in the past (the
ones we discussed in class today).

 Q1. Why Sales? Why this profile ?


 Q 2. What are your short term goals, long term goals
 Q5. How long will you remain in Hike? (Don’t say 8 to 10 years)
 Ans. My plan is to stay. I am in the learning stage and Hike Education would be
the best platform to learn.
 Q 6. GD related to education sector and current topics
 Q7. Do you think you will be able to handle the pressure? Why do you think that?
 Q8. What is sales? ( General questions and concepts of marketing)
 Q9. Sell me Taj Mahal
 Q 10. Sell me a Remote worth 7 K while I earn 10K
 Q12. Sell a blank page , a blank envelope, black shirt, Comb to a bald person,
fish to a vegetarian, smart phone to an old lady, AC to a person staying in very
cold region
 Q 13 I don’t wear ties but you sell me a tie
 Q 14 This does not mean that the topics and questions would be exactly the
same but you would be prepared for similar questions and would know the
pattern.
 Convince a senior retired army officer or a housewife to enrol for an MBA course
 Please talk confidently, show energy and enthusiasm.
