Cognizant to Regional Memorandum No. 152, s. 2013 (3" Bicol Patiribayan Festival - Secondary Level), this division shall conduct the Division Festival of Talent in Mathematics on November 16, 2013 (Saturday) at the Virac Sports Center. 2. The objectives of this activity are: a. Discover, nurture and develop talents of students and teachers in learning disciplines to raise academic performance; b. Serve as a vehicle for promotion of programs and projects implemented by the DepEd; c, Encourage Filipino citizens to take active responsibility for the holistic development of the students and teachers; and d. Develop and strengthen cooperation and partnership between and among various sectors of the society 3. _ The division first place winner in the different cvents, their respective coaches, Division Education Program Supervisor shall participate in the regional level on December 10, 2013 at Legazpi City High School, Legazpi City, Albay. 4, The event mechanics, guidelines and criteria for judging and working committees, are indicated in the attached enclosures. 5. __A registration fee of fifty pesos (Php 50.00) shall be charged to cach participant to cover expenses for supplies, contest materials and other incidental expenses to be collected through the Secondary Mathematics Teachers Association of Catanduanes. 6. To coincide in the activity is the induction rites and ball of the Division ‘Secondary Mathematics Club Officers, hence the President, Vice-President and Secretary of all school Mathematics Club are requested to attend. 7. _ Transportation and other allowable expenses relative to this activity shall be charged to local MOOE/School Based or GPTA funds subject to the usual accounting rules and regulations. 8. CONTEST GUIDELINES A. Modulo Art * The contestant will provide themselves with a % size cardboard, coloring materials and other drawing materials. + The artwork shall be done in two (2) hours. © The criteria for judging are as follows: Visual impact = 40% Creativity / Originality = 30% Consistency of the Design - 30% Total - 100% * The committee shall provide the design and format to be used by the contestants.
