books or any other type of correspondence. A word processor is an application package or
program1 that allows you to edit, print, and save these documents for use at a later date. A
word processor also includes many other capabilities-such as the ability to copy and to move
text, find and replace specific words or phrases, delete, edit and format documents, and print
documents. Some of the popular word processors include:

In our CSC109xyz Course we have learned the basics of preparinga document in Microsoft Word.
Essentially, with these Word skills, you should be able to use any of the word processers mentioned
