Task 8

An approach provides a theoretical framework for how a language is learned and taught. Different approaches use various methods and techniques to help students learn. A task-based approach gives students meaningful activities to complete using the target language. The focus is on having students use the language through tasks rather than explicit grammar instruction. This approach can help learners achieve lesson goals through engaging activities that improve their language skills.

TASK 8

Write in a hundred words the importance of the approaches in teaching English.

An approach is a perspective on instructing and learning. Any strategy to teaching a

language must start with a theoretical understanding of what language is and how it may be
learned. An approach gives rise to methods, which are the ways of teaching that use exercises or
other teaching strategies to aid students in learning.

It has a different teaching approach that can help our learners learn and achieve the goal
and objectives of lessons by the teacher. These approaches have different styles and techniques
to improve teachers' teaching. Teaching strategies that are grand slam with students, like a task-
based approach that meant students were to learn the grammar and vocabulary that educators
thought students needed to know. For interactive activities, the teacher can use a task-based
approach—a way of teaching in which the teacher gives students meaningful tasks. The teacher
may ask students to think about the language they used to do the tasks, but the main focus is on
the task itself.
