This in an indication that you know and can perform all the unit of competency enumerated for
computer system servicing NC2
The purpose of our assessment for Computer system servicing NC2 is to determine the level of your
competency
Today I am going to administer the competency assessment for Competency system servicing NC2, the
qualification for Computer system servicing NC2 is composed of basic, common, and core competencies
For core competencies we do have
Core competencies
INSTALL AND CONFIGURE COMPUTER SYSTEMS
SET-UP COMPUTER NETWORKS
SET-UP COMPUTER SERVERS
MAINTAIN AND REPAIR COMPUTER SYSTEMS AND NETWORKS
The different task to be performed for our computer system servicing NC2 assessment are the following
Task to be performed
Assembled computer hardware
Installed network cables
Set-up user access
Planned and prepared for maintenance and repair
We will collect evidences through demonstration, oral questioning, and written test.
To determine your knowledge and skills for computer system servicing NC2 the assessment method we
will use will be written test, demonstration, and oral questioning.
This assessment method can help to measure your underpinning knowledge and skills on CSS
So for your personal needs the laboratory is located at the end of the hallway and you can also eat to
our canteen However during the assessment you are not longer allowed to leave the premises of the
assessment area
And if you have any question or difficulties in understanding the given instruction please don’t hesitate
to ask me because I am willing to assist you.
And also there’s anybody here has physical difficulties or hypertension, diabetes please tell me so that I
can assist you later on ok.
If you have concern, question, or there’s need for you to clarify matter concerning the assessment, you
may raise your hand because I am more than willing to assist you
But once the assessment has started please reframe from asking question it is no longer allowed
Rights and appeal system
In you have any question regarding the assessment result you have the right to appeal, you can submit
your appeal to the TESDA provincial office or the assessment center and assessor are credited
For the insurance of national certificate the AC manager shall inform you where you can claim your
national certificate with in 5 working days after the assessment
Re- Assessment procedure
After the assessment and found your not yet competent, don’t worry because you can re assess anytime
at your own convenience. In case the re assessment is full qualification you have to undergo the whole
assessment process,
If your found to be competent in some unit of competencies the re assessment shall focus in the unit of
competencies where you will found not yet competent
Also you failed 2 consecutive assessment you will be advise to undergo a refresher course before
applying the re assessment
Occupational Safety
During the actual assessment please observe safely as you perform the different task, make sure to
check on your electrical equipment before plugging it. Avoid fulling the cord as you unplug the
equipment
Observe proper body mechanics when lifting heavy equipment to avoid back injuries
In case of accident, please call my attention immediately so that we can provide first aid
And when the need arise our first aid cabinet is located on the right side of our assessment center
Assessment Outcome
With regard of the result of your assessment we observe strick confidentiality, this is to ensure your
integrity the result is only made available to authorized personnel and to the institution where you had
you actual training
In relation to this, the assessment package is kept in the secured place to guaranty the integrity of the
assessment package
May I ask the candidate to reframe on giving away any form of information that took place during the
assessment process
