owner. Think of it as a personal assistant but virtually.

This person will help a business owner take over tasks in their
business that the owner does not like to do, or doesn't have
time to do! That's where you come in to save the day!

A Virtual Assistant's tasks range within a wide variety. It all


starts with the type of business you'd like to work for!

The tasks can range from Social Media Management to


Administrative Work. Although admin work can be needed, I
don't recommend ditching Social Media work all together.
This is where the big money can be made! After all, social
media is what people usually need the most help with!

You may be wondering if there is even ROOM for you as a Virtual Assistant?
I want you to get this thought out of your head right now. Instagram has BILLIONS
of users and there are new businesses growing every day. So how are you going
to stand out among the rest? The answer to this is picking a niche! There are two
different niches when being a V.A. The first niche is the business you want to work
for and the second is your service. BOTH of these will help you stand out. You
might be thinking, why would I want to narrow down the group of people I work
with and not just work with anyone and everyone?

Well think again. Niching down is probably one of the most important ways to
stand out as a Virtual Assistant. This is because that business owner will think
of YOU as the GO TO Virtual Assistant in their industry! That's why it's so
important to pick something your passionate about, that way work can seem
like play! After all, that's why you are looking for a new opportunity, am I right?

If you can't think of your niche.... I don't want you to stress. The beauty about
this is it is YOUR business. It doesn't have to be set in stone. If you can not
decide don't stress! Keep it broad in the beginning and niche down when you're
ready!

I want you to think about how much experience
you have in both administrative and social media
work. This is how you are going to price yourself.
Social Media experience means you can price
yourself a bit higher!

You want to start off between $25-35/hr. My


suggestions are ~25 if you are inexperienced
with no social media experience, ~28 with some
admin and basic social media experience, ~30 if
you have some creativity experience with social
media, and~35 if you believe you could take over
someone's social media right now and know the
ins and outs of running a business on Instagram.
Earn ing
Examples of What Pay Could Look like:

$28 per hour


5 hr/ week: $560 per month
10 hr / week: $1,120 per month
15 hr / week: $1,680 per month

You can take on as MANY clients as you feel


comfortable with. I reccomend raising your price a
bit with every client. You can raise your prices with
current clients every 3 months. You can quickly
scale to high rates in MONTHS following this
method!

Congratulations on making it this far! I know it is a LOT of info,
but this is going to set you up in the BEST possible way when
starting as a VA. So how do you start anyways?

Well, You need to create a business Instagram. This is where


you are going to run your business. I recommend creating
one from scratch because follower count DOES NOT
matter. You are going to create REELS AND GRAPHICS, TALK
ON INSTAGRAM STORIES, AND SHOWCASE YOURSELF AS
MUCH AS POSSIBLE! I know it's scary, but showing your face
and showing who you are is how a client is going to get to
know if they want to work with you!

CONFIDENCE, CONSISTENCY, AUTHENTICITY

For your instagram, I recommend adding highlights such
as MY STORY, SERVICES, PACKAGES, CLIENT WINS etc.
That way your clients can get to know you better!
Having some type of link in your bio with your services,
packages, discovery call link and a little bit about you will
be KEY! Make sure to include a call to action in your bio to
get people to click your link!

You can make graphics using Canva, Milkshake App for a


website, and Calendy for the discovery call link. They are
all FREE!

I want you to always remember these three words.
Confidence, Consistency, Authenticity. Think of these
words as you network. Yes, you want to be confident,
but make sure to be AUTHENTIC.

That means no salesy DMs. Think of finding clients as


DATING. You wouldn't ask your date to be your
significant other on DATE ONE. The same thing goes
for networking. ENGAGE with your potential clients.
React/ Like stories then maybe a few days later you
REPLY to stories and spark a genuine convo in the
DM's.

WHILE you are networking, it's important to have


many reels, story posts, and graphics up so when
you spark up conversation and they look at your
profile, they are impressed by what they see. TALK
TO THEM THROUGH YOUR CONTENT! That way, you
don't have to do the salsey stuff in the DM's. When
it's time to pitch, you should know. You've built a
relationship, REMEMBER, IT'S LIKE DATING.
