Directions:

1. Choose an existing company (local or international) from a particular


business sector (e.g. healthcare, IT, manufacturing, service) that utilizes
predictive analytics and provide a simple case report by providing the
following details:

a) Brief overview of the business (present condition/structure)


b) Areas of consideration or current issues faced by the business
c) Signify (using the Analytics Lifecycle template) how the company made
use of Predictive Analytics in developing and implementing solutions to
the areas of consideration

*Explain what the business has done in EACH of the cycle

**under BUILD cycle: If applicable, you may cite certain data


visualization techniques utilized by the business to aid in analyzing data
(see Lesson 2 PPT – Data Visualization Tools; slides 3-8)

*** under ANALYZE & COLLABORATE: Cite applications/measures


implemented by the business based on Predictive analytics results (see
Lesson 2 PPT – Data Visualization Tools; slides 9-11)
