The teacher will group the learners into six. Each group will receive a strip of paper
with a sentence. Learners need to find the conjunction and explain how it is use in the
sentence. During the presentation the teacher will ask the following questions:
What is the conjunction in the sentence?
How is this conjunction being used in the sentence?

What is conjunction?
What is subordinating conjunction?
What are the different types of subordinating conjunction?
The teacher will give the definitions with examples of the different types of
subordinating conjunctions.
The teacher will ask the learners to give sample sentences using the subordinating
conjunctions.

REFLECTION The learners were able to understand today’s topic based on the result of their
evaluation. Moreover, homework was also given to learners for them to dig deeper
about subordinating conjunctions.
