Remarks:
• Standard Microsoft Windows window shortcuts (e.g. ALT-F4 to close a window, ALT-SPACE for
standard window context menu) are supported in all application windows.
• The UF Analyzer tool visualizing anchor structures in the framework can be invoked by
pressing CTRL + SHIFT + F11.
• All general shortcuts (except for APPLICATION KEY) are only active in the main window (i.e.
not in popup windows or dialog windows). In pop up windows, the APPLICATION KEY pops up
the context menu only if the cursor is placed in one of the controls.
Tile Sets / Tiles
Focus traversal for tiles
Key(s) Action
CTRL + TAB / SHIFT + CTRL + TAB Moves focus to next / previous tile of a tile set
(visual representation: focus highlight in Tile caption)
Remarks:
• If directly after pressing CTRL + TAB keys, the TAB key is solely pressed (while no control is in
focus directly), the first editable control of the tile is focused.
Focus traversal for controls
Key(s) Action
TAB / SHIFT + TAB Moves focus to the next / previous editable control
within a tile
Remarks:
• Pressing the arrow keys (Up, Down, Left, Right) never removes the focus from the current control
on a detail tile.
In a grid, the current cell/row changes (see Grid section below).
• You do not have to press TAB / SHIFT+TAB keys for non-editable controls without hyperlinks. In
grid controls, they are included (reason: horizontal grid content scrolling).
• Non-editable controls with hyperlinks are skipped when empty.

Controls
Keyboard functionality within focused controls is listed below with the control type given on top of the
table.
In Version 5.0, all controls with labels and the button control support mnemonics (i.e. on a tile with a
Calculate button, pressing ALT + C will activate that button). Text fields that follow labels with
mnemonics will be focused when the ALT + character combinations are pressed.

Remarks:
• In case of an input error in the grid, ARROW UP and ARROW DOWN keys are locked (it is not
allowed to switch to a different business object, corrections have to be made first).
Browser
Microsoft Internet Explorer keys for scrolling or text editing are fully functional.
Remarks:
A number of standard internet explorer hotkeys or shortcuts are not functional in the focused control.
Others (e.g. CTRL+P for printing or CTRL+F for find on a page should be functional)
Other Controls
The following controls do not have any keyboard shortcuts:
• Image
• Radio Button Group
• Static Text
