AP007 Power Bank

User Guide

Getting to know your power bank
The Huawei AP007 is a plug-and-play power bank that can be used to charge
your terminal devices. Connect the AP007 to your device using the charging
cable. After your device is fully charged, disconnect the cable, and the AP007
will automatically power off in 6 seconds. This power bank is easy to use and
carry when you're on the go.
Ports, indicators, and button

USB output port: used to charge terminal devices. For example, your
phone.
Micro USB input port: used to charge the power bank.
Indicators: steady on; indicates the remaining power of the power
bank.
Blinking; indicates that the power bank is being charged or that the
power bank has insufficient power while charging a terminal device.
Power button: used to turn on or off the indicators.

Checking the power level
When the power bank is on standby, press the power button to check the
remaining power.

Charging the power bank

Fully charge the power bank before your first use.


Connect the power bank to a power outlet using the charging cable and adapter
(5 V/2 A). If the indicators are blinking, the power bank is being charged. The
power bank is fully charged when the indicators become steady on.
Charging your terminal device

To charge your terminal device (your phone for example) using the power bank,
connect the power bank to your device using the charging cable. When your
device is fully charged, disconnect the charging cable from the power bank. The
power bank will automatically power off in 6 seconds.
To stop charging your terminal device and immediately power off the
power bank, press and hold the power button on the power bank for 6 seconds
or more. To resume charging, remove and then reinsert the charging cable to
the power bank.

Safety information
 Keep the device dry. Avoid dusty, damp, and dirty environments. Using
the device in these environments may damage the circuitry.
 Do not use the device during thunderstorms to avoid any
lightning-related damage or injury.
 Ideal operating temperatures are 0°C to 45°C. Ideal storage
temperatures are –20°C to +45°C. Extreme heat or cold may damage
the device.
 If you need to connect the device to a USB port to charge it, make sure
the USB port is USB-IF certified and that it conforms to relevant USB-IF
standards.
 Keep the device away from excessive heat sources and direct sunlight.
Do not place it on or in heating devices, such as microwave ovens,
stoves, or radiators. The device may even explode in extreme
overheating circumstances.
 Do not attempt to disassemble or remanufacture the device, insert
foreign objects into it, or immerse or expose it to water or other liquids.
Doing so may lead to fire, explosion, or other hazards.
 Do not attempt to burn the device as it may explode.
 Dispose of the device in accordance with local regulations. Do not
dispose of the device in normal household waste. Improper device
disposal is dangerous and could cause an explosion. Please respect local
laws on the disposal of electronic products and their accessories and
support recycling efforts.
 Keep the device out of reach of children and pets to prevent them from
accidentally swallowing and choking on the small parts of the device.
Biting or swallowing the device could lead to serious injury.
 Do not drop, squeeze, or pierce the device. If excessive pressure is
applied to the device, the device may short circuit or overheat.
 When the device is being charged, make sure the power outlet is close
to the device and easy to reach.
 When the device is fully charged, disconnect the charger from the
device and unplug the charger from the power outlet.

Disposal and recycling information


This symbol (with or without a solid bar) on the device, batteries
(if included), and/or the packaging, indicates that the device and
its electrical accessories (for example, a headset, adapter, or cable)
and batteries should not be disposed of as household garbage.
These items should not be disposed of as unsorted municipal
waste and should be taken to a certified collection point for recycling or proper
disposal.
For more detailed information about device or battery recycling, contact your
local city office, household waste disposal service, or retail store.
Disposal of the device and batteries (if included) is subject to WEEE Directive
Recast (Directive 2012/19/EU) and Battery Directive (Directive 2006/66/EC).
The purpose of separating WEEE and batteries from other waste is to minimize
the potent ial environmental impacts and human health risk of any hazardous
substances that may be present.

This device is compliant with the REACH Regulation [Regulation (EC) No
1907/2006] and RoHS Directive Recast (Directive 2011/65/EU). Batteries (if
included) are compliant with the Battery Directive (Directive 2006/66/EC). For
