The Dacal-Pukel Elementary School held a 10-day Brigada Eskwela from August 8-19, 2022 to prepare for the upcoming school year. Over the 10 days, volunteers helped clean and maintain the school grounds and buildings through activities like pruning trees, cleaning roofs, painting furniture, and preparing classroom and outdoor areas. They also implemented reading programs for students and made purchases and payments to be ready for the new term. The Brigada Eskwela involved collaboration between school staff, parents, local organizations and the military to make needed repairs and get the school in order for the 2022-2023 school year.
