II. PROBLEM STATEMENT: Poor reading & comprehension skills affect students’ performance.

III. PROJECT OBJECTIVE STATEMENT

The project aims to strengthen the reading proficiency of every learner and help nurture a culture of
reading which is considered a requisite skill in all content areas.

1. Why do students have low scores on their exams?
- Because they have low reading and comprehension level.
- Because of poor study and reading habits.
2. Why do they have poor reading and comprehension level?
- Because of limited experience with books.
- Because reading can be intimidating.
3. Why do students have limited experience with books and feel being intimidated?
- Because of lack of resources and innovations.
- Because of lack of interests.
