introduce yourself: Share your name, age, city where you live, hobbies, likes and dislikes,
marital status, state what you are studying, if you are working and what your professional
goals are. Use a minimum of 100 words in English for this part. This stage will help you also
to complete the stage 3 to create your curriculum vitae.
good afternoon.
my name is darwin francisco rodriguez rivera, i am 25 years old, i live in the city of
villavicencio meta, i like very much the plans to go to the cinema, to know restaurants,
walks in the rural areas, i am a music , i consider that the music is a tool that serves us to
leave a little of the reality in which we live, it does not generate the pleasure of being able
to create imaginary convictions and to satiate the repressed dreams that we have, i
consider the music as a window to the other end of the reality. I strongly dislike lying
people, I believe that honesty and loyalty to others is important in our essence as human
beings. I currently have a relationship which is in the stage of getting to know each other
and see the possibilities of coinciding in a percentage of need that makes us a good option
to generate a coexistence, I study food engineering in the CEAD of acacias, I currently work
in the transport terminal, it has been complex for me to get ahead with my studies for the
little time I have left, but thank God I have been able to better organize my time to thus
resume the activities. i have great professional expectations, but one of my dreams is to
be able to work in an industrial food processing company like colombina, or any of these
companies in the same line of production.

- my professional career has been very didactic, within the professional advances that I
have achieved throughout the development of my career, I have been able to
intervene in areas that are included in a direct way to the professional field, I have
been able to attend industrial processes of companies dedicated to the transformation
of food, likewise, I have been able to intervene in some conventional processes in
small companies dedicated to transform raw materials into consumer products of
basic necessity.

Rta: first you should mention your name and personal information, then relevant work
experience, my skills and my professional education at the end.
- According to the video, how should you format your C.V.?
Rta: the C.V. should be sent in word or pdf format, this way it will be easier to access
the presentation of the document.
- Why is a Personal Statement important?
Rta: the personal statement is important to give a good impression and image to the
recruiter, using words within the context of the vacancy need the recruiter generates,
so he can feel that he knows the person aspiring to the vacancy better.
- What should not you include in your C.V.?
Rta: - do not include photo
- do not include age or any other information that is not strictly necessary.
- do not include the name of personal references
STAGE 3
Use the template as an example to create your C.V. according to your professional
background. Find the Template in the document Annex 2 – C.V. template, located in
the learning environment, Activities guide and evaluation rubric - Unit 2 - Task 2 – Let’s
Create my C.V. Remember to consider the information that you had from the previous
video. You must include the following information: Name, Experience, Education,
Communication, Leadership, Job Objective, Contact Information, References. Once
you finish your C.V., take a screenshot of it, and share it in the forum.
IMPORTANT: Avoid sending files to the forum. Please upload the screenshot as an
image, not as a PDF or WORD document. The template is just an example, you can
create your own C.V. using your creativity and imagination. Be sure to include all the
information required in the template.
