The NMC (National Medical Commission) notification and subsequent issued amendments
as per the referenced it is mandatory for all faculty members to enroll in the AEBAS (Aadhaar
Enabled Biometric Attendance System) and record their attendance twice daily.

ln the AEBAS iystem data for the period from 1st June to 13th July 2023,the following
observations have been seen

1 . T he faculty members highlighted in red have not been adhering to the stipulated
requirement of engaging in biometric attendance.
2. Faculty members who mark their attendance only once in the morning have their staying
hours recorded as 0, as per the system's default settings.
3. lt has also come to my attention that the total hours spent by certain faculty members fall
significantly hrelow the prescribed mandatory hours, (200+ for the prescribed period)

All faculty members should comply with the Biometric attendance system based on which
disciplinary actions will be initiated for the violation of NMC and BMC rules.
