3 Installation precaution

CAUTION

4 Cartridge installation

The optimum conditon and storage temperature is 15~25℃, avoid direct sunlight. If printing under the
environment that is below 5℃ or above 30℃, the print quality will be reduced.

If ink stored in the place where is too cold or too hot for a long time, please place it at ordinary temperature
for at least 24 hours until it is in the ordinary temperature. Do not try to heat it or cool it otherwise its print
quality will be reduced.

Please wear prevention tools like plastic gloves, preventional glasses when doing any repairs whenever
possible to touch inks.

Keep inks away from children. Waste ink should be handled properly otherwise it might cause
environment pollution or damage to health.

Please do not use the cartridge if it fell off because any shake might damage it

Please be careful when install or take off the cartridge.

Do not take off the cartridge randomly, if it is not used up. Because the air may come into the ink pipe to
cause missing color and reduce the print quality.

Please clean the head, if there are phenomenons like missing color which affect print quality.

6.Select TEST_MODE,press[ ]to enter printing mode choice,. Use and to select B_MODE and

C_MODE. Confirm it by pressing [ENTER]. Press to exit.

1.Test the print quality before print. Adjust it according to print state
diagram.

1.Set print paper and print direction before print and make alignment via test print.
Press [MENU] on the panel and make its related settings.

Print quality depends on print mode, please select the right print mode which can

While printing, please press PAUSE to stop temporarily. Press PAUSE again to return printing.

If you pause print, then the print quality will be different compared to the original one. So avoid pausing
print.

Operation

choose expected range,from 25 to 55.Press ENTER to confirm. (This key can be seen on the right
of screen.)

Print head alignment

[Head alignment]
To make sure great print quality, please do the head alignment.
Strips will appear while printing if head alignment is not done, and print precision will also
be reduced.
USB cable should insert in back of the computer not the front.

4 Loosen the screw fixed the bottom of carriage,
confirm the position of printhead by adjusting the
carriage bottom up and down.

5 Move regulating rod to adjust print head to


a suitable print height, the highest is 2.6mm
,and the lowest is 1.6mm.

6 Turn on printer and access to [ADJUST]

9 Loosen the fixing screw of printhead with


1,2,3 as marked in the right picture, adjust
the pritnhead to keep lines of each color at
the same line.

Notice:
If upper line is on the right side of lower line, raise
the inner side of printhead.
If upper line is on the left side of lower line, raise the
outer side of printhead.

Print text result again until head is

Double direct adjustment
* This operation is only available when you choose “BI_DIRECTION” under PRINT QUALITY.
To regulate the offset of bidirectional print.
This operation is prerequisite if printing material is changed, or head height is adjusted, or the driver has
reinstalled.

1.Press MENU and , , select ADJUST and press , select BI_DIRECTION and press[ ]to enter.

Maintenance

Change cartridge

Any shake might damage the cartridge, so do not use it again.

Please handle with care when install or take off the cartridge.

Do not take the cartridge off until the inks used up. Because when cartridge took off from printer, the air may
come into the ink pipe, and print quality will be reduced.

Handle waste inks
Please handle waste inks as following steps when ink reaches the limit level of waste ink collecting box or
you need to move the machine.

Collect the waste ink via our waste-ink-


collecting container. The fire or illness may
caused if waste ink leak or evaporate.

NOTICE When take off waste ink collecting box please keep it vertical and do not shake, as it might spatter
out.

Waste ink can not be reused and it contains poisonous compositions. So do not burn or handle it as a
general rubbish.
Do not pour waste inks into sewer or river, otherwise it might cause environment pollution.

1 Turn off the power.


2 Take off the waste ink collecting box which is

full with inks.

3 Carefully handle it conforming

to your local law and rules.

Cleaning

NOTICE Before cleaning please turn off the main power switch and unplug the power cord first.
* Turn off the sub power switch first and then turn off the main power switch.

Do not add lubricating oil on mechanical parts.

Do not use solvent cleaning solution to clean. (Like gasoline or thinner)

Cleaning pressure plate regularly, because it will affect print quality if it is dirty.

Do not touch print head by hand or any other material.

Keep printer clean at any time.

Clean print head with our special cleaning cloth (or cleaning rod) and cleaning solution.

Do not clean or rub print head surface with any materials which might cause irreparable damage.
