ALFALAH Debit Card Activation Process

Dear Customer, you can activate your Debit Card by using our WhatsApp automated service, Alfa app,
Internet banking, Alfalah Rapid and by calling at our helpline 021/042-111-225-111.

Debit Card Activation via WhatsApp Bot:

Step by step guide to activate your Debit Card via WhatsApp Bot Service:

 Access Bank Alfalah WhatsApp BOT


 From main menu, select option 10 for Debit Card Activation
 Enter last 4 digits of your Account Number e.g. 2387
 Enter last 4 digits of CNIC Number e.g. 7859
 Enter the year of birth e.g. 1986 (YYYY)
 Enter last 4 digits of your Debit Card e.g. 2387
 Then you need to enter the OTP which you will receive on your registered mobile
number (OTP will get expire in 10 minutes)
 You need to provide 4 digits Debit Card PIN Code
 Re-Enter the same 4 digits of the Debit Card PIN Code
 Then BOT will provide the confirmation message for the Activation of Debit Card, also
you will be intimated via SMS.
Note: Chat needs to be initiated from your registered number for the activation of debit card
via WhatsApp Bot services.

Debit Card Activation via ALFA APP:


Dear Customer, you can activate your Debit Card through Alfa application, please follow the steps
below:

 Login Alfa Application


 Tap on "Cards"
 Tap on ‘Cards Management’
 Tap on ‘Debit Card’
 Tap on ‘Activate Card’
 Create PIN of Debit Card followed by OTAC

Debit Card Activation via INTERNET BANKING:
To activate your Debit Card through Internet Banking, please follow the steps below:

 Access your Internet Banking by entering your login credentials


 Navigate to the "Services" tab
 Select "Card Management" from the available options
 Choose the Card type then select Debit Card
 Set a secure PIN for your Debit card
 Click on the "Activation" button
 Enter the One-Time Password (OTP) that was sent to your registered mobile number and email
address

Debit Card Activation via ATM:

You can activate your debit card by visiting any Bank Alfalah ATM with your Alfalah Debit Card, CNIC
number and your registered mobile number.

 Insert your Alfalah Debit Card into the Bank Alfalah ATM Machine.
 Click ‘OK’ when the ATM machine ask you to activate your Debit Card.
 Enter your 13-digit CNIC number
 Enter your date of birth (DD-MM-YYYY)
 You will receive a 4-digit OTP on your registered mobile number, enter the OTP & proceed
 Enter a 4-digit ATM PIN of your choice using the keypad
 Re-enter the ATM PIN for validation
 You will receive the confirmation message for the Activation of Debit Card, also you will be
intimated via SMS.

Debit Card Activation via Helpline:

 To activate your Debit card from our helpline, please call our helpline at 021/042 111 225 111
with your registered number.
