Script for Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador Program

Hi Microsoft, my name is Kamran Khan, I am a Third Year Computer Science and Engineering Student
specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning currently pursuing my B-Tech Degree from
Bharati Vidyapeeth Department of Engineering and Technology Navi Mumbai and This is my
application for Microsoft learn Student Ambassador Program.
Since I'm a computer science student I have learned various programming languages like Java, C++,
python, JavaScript, etc.
I have worked on many projects and participated in many contests I have also organized several
events in my college.
I firmly believe in learning by doing and hence as a Microsoft student Ambassador I would love to
conduct workshops seminars to help people learn by getting down and dirty with code
what excites me the most about technology are the possibilities we live in an incredible time where
things like the cloud machine learning and IOT are opening up avenues which were previously
unimaginable our generation is very fortunate
I would love to help people make the leap from consumers of technology to creators of technology
lastly Microsoft is my favorite company I have been using Microsoft products from Windows XP to
Windows 10 to Microsoft Azure to Visual Studio code and GitHub (a platform that developers love), I
have used all of this over the past years today I've always been that Microsoft guy.

1. Guide: We are looking for students who are driven to guide their peers in learning technical
skills. Tell us about one specific technical skill you have learned, and how you were guided to
learning it. How would you use that experience to be a better Student Ambassador?
Answer: As a web developer, I have faced several challenges in learning complex technical skills.
One such skill that I have found particularly challenging is creating efficient and scalable back-
end systems.
To overcome this challenge, I turned to online courses and tutorials, but found that the material
was often dense and difficult to understand. I also sought guidance from experienced
professionals but found that many of them were either too busy or too advanced to offer
meaningful help.
However, I refused to give up, and instead, I focused on breaking down the material into smaller,
more manageable pieces. I also spent time experimenting with different technologies and
techniques and kept myself updated with the latest trends in the industry.
Through persistence and hard work, I eventually gained a solid understanding of back-end
development and was able to create scalable and efficient systems for my projects.
As a Student Ambassador, I would use this experience to guide and support fellow students who
may also be struggling with complex technical skills. I would encourage them to break down the
material into smaller, more manageable parts, and I would provide them with resources and tips
to help them gain a deeper understanding of the concepts.
I would also encourage students to collaborate and work together to tackle challenging technical
problems, and I would offer to facilitate group study sessions or online forums where students
can discuss and share their knowledge.

Overall, I believe that my experience in overcoming complex technical challenges would make
me a valuable resource for students looking to improve their technical skills. As a Student
Ambassador, I would strive to create a supportive and collaborative environment where
everyone can succeed and achieve their goals.
2. Connect: We are looking for students who have strong community ties and want to connect
their communities to their peers. Tell us about a specific event you have planned that
connected diverse audiences together. How would you use that experience to be a better
Student Ambassador?
Answer: As a student who is passionate about technology, I have always believed in the power
of community building and creating opportunities for diverse audiences to connect with one
another. One specific event that comes to mind is the Data Structures and Algorithms session
that I organized last month.

DSA is a crucial topic in computer science, but it can often be intimidating for students who are
new to the subject. With this in mind, I decided to create a session that was accessible to
students of all backgrounds and skill levels. I reached out to my network of peers and colleagues
to gather a diverse group of students, including those who were studying computer science, as
well as those who were interested in the subject but had no prior experience.

To ensure that the session was engaging and interactive, I planned several activities and
discussions that encouraged students to collaborate and learn from one another. For example,
we had breakout sessions where students worked in small groups to solve DSA problems, and
we also had a Q&A panel with experienced developers who shared their insights and best
practices.

Overall, the DSA session was a huge success, with over 100+ students attending and
participating. I received positive feedback from many attendees who felt that the session was
informative, engaging, and inclusive.

If selected as a Student Ambassador, I would use my experience organizing workshops,

seminars, and hackathons to continue fostering connections and building bridges between
diverse groups of students. I believe that community building is essential in creating a supportive
and inclusive environment, and I am committed to leveraging my skills and passion for
technology to create opportunities for students to learn from one another and grow together.
