III. Course Description: This course is primarily intended to lend substantial
assistance to Criminology students to be able to know the intricacies of
Revised Penal Code. Such book consists of 114 articles that includes the
following topics: Concepts and Principles; Felonies, Circumstances affecting
criminal liability; Persons criminally liable for felonies; Penalties; Extinction of
Criminal liability and Civil liability as well as the basic concepts and important
principles/doctrines of the subject as well as the salient provisions of and
jurisprudence.
IV. Course Learning Outcomes:
CLO1: Demonstrate competence and broad understanding in different
felonies indicated in RPC Book 1.
CLO2: Apply the Principles Criminal Law in different felonies.
CLO3: Apply professional, social, and ethical standards in the interpretation of
various felonies.

X. Requirements: Comply and pass all academic requirements
Students are expected to comply with the following:
Compilation of manuscript, academic portfolio, library research, Individual and
oral presentation, quizzes, Recitation, and major exam
XI. Computation of Grades: The passing score is 50% of the total items in the
examinations, while the passing grade for the semester is 75% or 3.00. The
basis for the computation of the semester grade is as follows:
Midterm grade: 70% Class standing and 30% midterm examination
Final Grade: 70% Class standing and 30% final examination
Semester grade: 50% midterm grade and 50% final grade
