SCOPE OF WORK
1. Number of Plying Days: 780 Days in 3 Years including few Sundays and Holidays.
2. The vehicle will be deployed for 12 hours per day engagement basis.
3. Any type of equivalent commercial MUV vehicle with diesel variant other than
mentioned type of vehicle in the bid document/SLA (i.e. Mahindra Bolero, Mahindra
Scorpio, Mahindra Xylo, Tata Sumo etc.) is also acceptable.
4. It will be the responsibility of the successful L-1 Bidder to ensure safety to the
boarders.
5. In the event of break down during journey period, successful L-1 Bidder will be
responsible to provide replacement vehicle of same condition.
6. If under any circumstances vehicle does not report to duty any day, penalty at the
rate of double the hiring charges will be deducted from the bill.
7. Unauthorized persons will not be allowed to travel in the vehicle, if so found,
penalty will be imposed as per Company’s rule.
8. Contractor must be ready to engage their vehicle as per the contract. The route may
be altered as per the requirement as communicated by the management.
9. The vehicle will be halted at the place as decided by the management in course of
the contract period.
10. During continuance of the engagement of the vehicle, Management will not be
responsible for any loss/damage/destruction of the vehicle nor any statutory claim
arising out of accident etc. of its Driver & Helper.
11. Driver should have valid Driving License and should have no criminal records.
He must be acquainted with basic repairing and maintenance of the vehicle.
12. If Driver/Khalasi are engaged in any illegal activities, the buyer will not take any
responsibility and appropriate punishment should be imposed upon them as per law
of the land by the service provider/bidder.
13. POL: Petroleum, Oil & Lubricant (POL) will be borne by the seller and
reimbursement will be issued on the basis 1 litre of diesel / 12 km and @ 1 litre of
Engine Oil / 500 km.
14. The age of the vehicle is maximum 0-1 years old from the bid submission end
date.
15. Vehicle must have a First-Aid-Box.
16. There must be a Fire Extinguisher in the vehicle.
17. The contractor shall keep the vehicle insured up to date as per provision of the
Insurance act applicable in the country.
18. The safety feature shall be properly maintained and all rules & regulations related
to Motor vehicle i.e. M.V. Tax, Pollution Receipt, Road Permit, Commercial Tax, Road
Tax etc. shall be strictly adhered to. Any other legal liabilities as per Govt. Act and
rules to the employees will be your responsibility.
19. The Odometer should be maintained in running condition.
20. THE CONTRACT MAY BE EXTENDED FOR FURTHER ONE YEAR IF
SATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE IS FOUND.
