Item Analysis

The document contains information about measures of central tendency (mean, mode, standard deviation) calculated from test score data of 10 students. It also includes results from analyzing the reliability of the test using the split-half method, yielding a reliability of 0.81 for the first half and 0.89 for the whole test. Finally, an item analysis is presented, including the index of difficulty and index of discrimination values for 26 test items.

In the first day, we make first the Table of Specification based on Bloom’s
Taxonomy and also the test paper with 50 items. Break down to 15 items for
Remembering; 10 for Understanding; 10 for Applying; 5 for Analyzing; 5 for
Evaluating; and 5 for Creating. We also make objectives and summary items
according to the level or domain of the TOS. In second day, our teacher, Mrs.
Dayaganon checked our test if it is needed to revise or improved and prepare it for
the production and administration. In the third day, we administer our test paper to
the students. So for me, I choose the subject Heograpiya, Kasaysayan, at Sibika for
Grade 6 pupils. I administer it to my neighbors that suite to the Grade level I
choose. Fortunately, I have at least 10 neighbors or children that suite to my test
paper. In the afternoon, I let them to answered the test paper one by one. After the
administration, I checked their test paper and make the statistical methods like the
Measure of Center Tendency, Split Half Method, Item Analysis and its summaries
and interpretation, Upper And Lower Group Options and Answers Students In
Item 1 -10 and Determination the Effectiveness of each Option. So I hope this will
be the guide in making our test papers in the future.
