question what are your ways to achieve academic goals. Though 6 out of 30 answered focus
on studies the answer study hard still eradicated. There we’re also 4 out of 30 respondents
who answered time management and 2 out of 30 answered studying efficiently. The
respondents only answered 1 out 30 in set goals, make good choices, knowing priorities, and
work hard and trust yourself. Moreover, 50% of the overall respondents answered study hard
as their way in achieving academic goals.
Thus, the data above presented that even though they are different in some ways, half
of them agreed in one effective way to achieve academic goals.
The result of this study is consonance to the result of the study which said that the use
of self-regulatory processes, such as goal setting, the use of learning strategies, and self-
monitoring, necessitates both time and effort, a second critical issue in comprehending
students' initiative to excel academically is their sources of motivation. It has been proposed
that students' sense of personal agency over the quality of their performance plays an
important self-motivational role (Bandura,1997). Time management is also an effective way
for achieving academic goals. Managing your time well is a key factor in achieving your
goals. The best approach to guarantee success is to feel good about what you're doing Bakken
and Levy (2013). There is also an answer which is setting goals and make good choices. The
respondents answered studying hard as a learning strategy and also a self-monitoring which
uses both time and effort to the respondents.
