Downloading Files to the Computer
In order to download MATLAB files to the computer, first go to www.mathworks.com and
create an account with your e-mail address ending with eskisehir.edu.tr. Then, you need to
complete the email verification process for your account. Afterwards, you can login to
www.mathworks.com site with your password and your e-mail address ending with
eskisehir.edu.tr. On the MathWorks page, click on the "My Account" tab (see Figure 1) and
link your account to the MathWorks software license of Eskisehir Technical University.

After these steps, you should have received an email like the one below.
Either from the download button shown in Figure 2 or from the download button shown in
Figure 3. You can download files to your computer from the "Download" button.

It is downloaded by selecting the MATLAB version (as shown in Figure 4) and installer
type (as shown in Figure 5) you want to install. After this process, the exe file containing
the version and operating system information will be downloaded in the form of
"matlab_r2018a_win64.exe" (for Win64bit).

After the file is downloaded, double click on it, and click the "Run" button.

Making MATLAB Installation with MathWorks Account
After this process, the MathWorks installer window will be opened.
The MathWorks account is entered by selecting the "Log in with a MathWorks Account"
option.

Important: If you want to specify the directory where the files will be downloaded, make
sure that there is no space character or Turkish characters (ı, İ, Ö, ç, ş, ğ, ü, Ç, Ş, Ö, Ğ, Ü).

After completing the installation, MATLAB should be opened and account activation should
be done as follows.

Since it is an individual license, the username of the installing computer appears on the screen
(see Figure 15) and click "next" to continue.

Note: After opening MATLAB, you can easily see which version of the toolboxes you have
installed by typing "ver" in the command window.
Using MATLAB Online
You can use MATLAB online without downloading the MATLAB program. For this, after
logging into your MathWorks account, you need to click on “MATLAB Online” on your
account window (see Figure 18).
