Proposal Summary The Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) proposes to have
leisure area and clean surroundings for students, teachers, parents, and
visitors. This project aims to provide a comfortable place for students to have
snacks, study area, and other purposes. The trash bin also ensures a clean
environment conducive for learning.

I. Rationale
New Pangasinan Elementary School Supreme Elementary Learner Government
(SELG) recognizes the importance of student well-being and leisure. To address this,
the SELG has initiated a project to install garden table sets and trash bins across the
campus. These outdoor spaces provide students with areas to unwind, socialize, and
relax amidst nature, promoting mental rejuvenation and fostering a sense of
community. Additionally, the presence of trash bins encourages responsible waste
disposal and environmental stewardship. By investing in initiatives that prioritize
student leisure and environmental consciousness, the SELG aims to create a
supportive and enriching learning environment that nurtures holistic student
development.
II. Program Objective:
Generally, the program aims to:
Enhance student well-being and leisure;
Provide conducive outdoor spaces for relaxation, socialization, and mental
rejuvenation;
Promote environmental stewardship and responsibility;
Ensure proper waste disposal facilities are available;

Foster a culture of resilience, community, and environmental
consciousness within the student body.
III. Strategy:
During the General PTA Assembly conducted last September 29,2023,
learners together with their parents were oriented about the voluntary donation of 1
peso per week or 40 pesos per whole year for the implementation of the proposed
project of the SELG.
SELG Officers were assigned per classroom to update the said voluntary
donations.
At the end of the School Year, the SELG Adviser and the SELG Officers will
convene to account the voluntary donations collected and implement the proposed
project.
IV. Narrative Report:
Starting from October 14, 2023, the SELG officers launched the “Piso para sa
Kalikasan Campaign” with the main objective to provide trash bins for the Waste
Segregation Management and garden sets for their leisure time. The campaign aims
to augment the needed fund for the project implementation through fund raising.
After months of fundraising efforts, on January 3, 2024, the project reached fruition
as the garden table sets and trash bins were campus.

LEISURE AREA
Learners have their own leisure corner intended for outdoor study habits and for them
to have convenient place for their recess and lunch time.
TRASH BINS
To promote proper Waste Segregation Management, Trash Bins were installed in places
where learners can have easy access and put their trashes in its proper place.
